Malawi women dealing with the drought.
We need to expand our borders!
Global warming campaigns are run by people that are wealthy and by the world’s richest companies. Are they worrying about the people in poor countries that are dealing with the Earth warming every day of their lives? There is billions of dollars being spent on the risks of droughts and rising seas. Does anyone realize that there are droughts happening for many people around the world? Africa contributes less then 3% of the earth’s carbon dioxide from fuel burning since 1900, although its 840 million people are being faced with some of the worst conditions of global warming. The droughts in Africa are freighting and are killing many people already. The water supply in Africa was bad to being with and now with the earth warming it is only getting worse. As the oceans get larger with the melting ice water county such as Egypt are going to be really impacted by the water level changes.
Wealthy countries are protected by their money. If there was ever a drought or flooding from the rising seas the country would have enough money to save people survive. In poor places such as Africa they do not have this option.
We should start thinking about other countries and how we can help them deal with global warming changes. We need to expand our borders in our minds and in real life situations.
Henry I. Miller, a fellow with the Hoover Institution at Stanford University stated referring to the Titanic, “A much higher fraction of passengers from the cheaper decks were lost. We’ll see the same phenomenon with global warming.”

What is happening to the North Pole?
Since the beginning of time nature has always had to change due to changing climates. It is one of the most important forces behind the process of evolution. The climate has controlled the life on Earth. Although in today’s society it is apparent that everyone knows that the climate may start to change to rapidly. While it be too difficult for certain species to survive? The habitats that these animals live in are being destroyed by global warming. If there is no where for the polar bears to live they will not be able to survive. Polar Bears is one species that is being really affected by global warming. The North Pole is getting smaller and smaller and there is no where for the polar bears to go. Polar bears are the perfectly adapted ice animal and now they will have to find a way to survive or they will go extinct.
"In Alaska, people are more aware of the warming problem because it's staring you in the face," says Gunter Weller, director of the Center for Global Change and Arctic System Research at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. "You can't deny the evidence, because it's all around you."
