An Inconvenient Truth"I Need to Wake Up" Music and Lyric by Melissa Etheridge

Acceptance Speech: "But mostly, I have to thank Al Gore for inspiring us, inspiring me, showing that caring about the Earth is not Republican or Democrat. It's not red or blue, we are all green. This is our job. Now we can become the greatest generation, the generation that changed, the generation that woke up and did something and changed. I love you all. Thank you Academy, this is great. Thank you."

I agree. People think saving the environment is a political issue...but it's not. It should be a concern for everyone...it is a MORAL issue. More people need to get involved if we care at all what will be going on with the world in 100 years or so.
